My Forever Child

When I lost Garrett at 15 weeks, I was heartbroken.    I immediately wanted to hold on to every last thing that I could of him and I wanted to find peace and heal.  I only had one ultrasound picture of a tiny spot and his tiny footprints.  I'm only a jewelry wearer when it means something to me.  When I got on My Forever Child's website and noticed that they had a bracelet that I could have his actual feet engraved on, my eyes filled with tears.  I get to see my little girl every day and she brings me so much joy.  Now, I can look at my wrist and be reminded of the tiny feet that I got to see, and be in amazement of how wonderful God is that my tiny baby boy had such perfect hands and feet.   This is healing to me, because I smile now when I look at them on my wrist.   I requested to have Garrett's feet in the exact size they were on my bracelet and Sue was so sweet to correspond with me via email and get the exact measurements so she could make them true to size.  I can actually point to those little feet when people ask me about my baby in Heaven and tell them that those were his actual prints in the actual size.  Garrett is in Heaven and that is every parents wish for their children someday.....but I have a little piece of him with me here on earth to remind me of the lessons his life and death has taught me.  Thank you Sue and My Forever Child for this remembrance.
This is what is engraved inside the bracelet.

Garrett's Box

Garrett's Box
His box had a little tiny blanket for him, a lion from Gracie, an Army man from Ryan, a Pooh Bear from me, letters from Kade and Addy, his Bible, a letter and Angel Bear from my mom, and a two dollar bill from my dad.
